The Heart of Santa Rosa is amid an exciting period of revitalization, with several new developments. Among these is the recent completion of the Courthouse Square reunification and the Hotel E on the Square. The SMART Train serves Downtown Santa Rosa and makes multiple stops each day at the Railroad Square Depot, just a short distance from Courthouse Square. The SMART Train travels to and from San Rafael in Marin County, with many stops along the way including Novato, Petaluma, Rohnert Park to the south and the Sonoma County Airport area to the north.
